supplements i am loving lately
in january, i had a hair tissue mineral analysis done. fast forward to april, i had a hormone test done as well. recently, last month in october, i had a full panel of bloodwork done focused on metabolic health. i am wanting to get a repeat htma & some micronutrients tested in the new year too! focusing on my health & supplementing where necessary (i do take a food first approach) has been key for me! i wanted to update my supplement routine & share things i am loving with you today!
so here’s my current supplement routine:
every morning on an empty stomach upon waking with 1/2 lemon juiced, bouy electrolytes & redmonds real salt in my filtered water, i aim to consume 32oz within the first 2 hours of my day! i eat with my hormones in mind, so usually my breakfast is a balance of protein, healthy fats & a carb to fuel my morning workout i tackle after school dropoff! lately, i have been loving a slice of sourdough toasted & topped with mashed avocado, raw cheddar & a soft boiled egg with a side of chicken sausage!
prior to breakfast, after wakeup i take:
1 l-glutamine (500mg) from pure encapsulations GUT HEALTH!
i make my coffee & add 1 scoop collagen from perfect supplements!
with/after breakfast i take:
2 magnesium glycinate capsules (200mg each) from pure encapsulations
1 gi-probiotics capsule from pure encapsulations
2 beef liver capsules from perfect supplements
1 boron capsule from pure encapsulations
1 vitamin d capsule from throne
1 packet of gruns gummies GREENS IN GUMMY FORM, YES PLEASE!
with/after lunch i take:
1 vitamin e capsule (best taken with a higher fat meal) from integrative therapeutics
1 cod liver capsule from jigsaw health
1 ashwaghanda capsule from pure encapsulations THE CHILL PILL
2 beef liver capsules from perfect supplements (i personally prefer to split mine up but you can do all anytime of all if you’d like!)
after dinner i take:
1 l-glutamine (500mg) from pure encapsulations GUT HEALTH!
prior to cooking dinner for the family i make an adrenal cocktail which consists of:
1/2 cup organic orange juice
1/2 cup organic coconut water
1/2tsp acerola cherry powder (vitamin c!) from perfect supplements
1/2tsp redmonds salt
splash of real cream
before bed i take:
1 best rest formula capsule from pure encapsulations BEST SLEEP EVER!
i make a raw cacao (hello natural magnesium & fiber!) with a second scoop of collagen from perfect supplements!
when i go upstairs to do my skincare i will also apply my goodnight lotion with 400mg total (200mg per tsp) applied topically on my legs from earthley wellness, do 15-20 minutes on my acupressure mat while wearing my castor oil pack!
this all may sound like a lot, to be honest writing it all out like this made me feel a little extra but i can honestly say, after working SO hard to regulate my hormones, have a solid wellness routine & just truly be in tune with my own body, this has helped me immensely! i will link ways you can easily shop for the supplements i listed below for you! i hope this helped you!
