my current supplement routine
if you’ve been following me for a bit on instagram, you know i had a hair tissue mineral analysis done at the top of this year. it really opened my eyes into what more you could get from diving deeper than routine annual bloodwork.
i began working with kourtney over at 5th element this new year. we did a hair tissue mineral analysis which was super simple! she mailed me a small kit with directions to complete a hair sample & i had my results in just a few weeks! i then met with kourtney (she does in person & virtual, we did virtual!) for about an hour to discuss the results & she can me a 3 phase plan to begin with both supplements & foods to incorporate to work! kourtney is an integrative health practitioner & she truly talked TO me, not at me. she broke it all down, let me ask questions & gave me such a key holistic approach that i felt like i was missing for years when it came to my healthcare!
so here’s my current supplement routine:
every morning on an empty stomach upon waking with citrus & salt water
1 desiccated liver capsule from perfect supplements
1 probiotic capsule from amare
1 gbx fit capsule (think pre-workout) from amare
with breakfast i take:
1 vitamin e capsule (best taken with a higher fat meal) from integrative therapeutics
1 cod liver capsule from jigsaw health
1 200mg magnesium capsule from pure encapsulations
after breakfast i make my happy juice from amare which consists of 3 powder supplements for mental wellness & consists of:
mentabiotics — improves the gut-brain axis to optimize mental wellness with unique strains of probiotics, prebiotics & phytobiotics that help balance the microbiome.
edge — boost mood, motivation & metabolism with an all natural nootropic that supports neuron regeneration, helps with focus and combats mental fatigue.
energy+ — clean energy, mental endurance & motivation boost without the crash or jitters. i chose the caffeine free since i love my coffee but you can get caffeine!
after happy juice i make my coffee & add 1 scoop collagen from perfect supplements!
with lunch i take:
1 cod liver capsule
1 200mg magnesium capsule from pure encapsulations
2 gbx burn capsules (great for slow metabolizers for proper digestion) from amare
to note, lunch is sometimes a protein shake which consists of gbx protein from amare, ningxia greens from young living, superseed powder (hello fiber!) from amare, grass fed milk, organic greek yogurt, bee pollen, frozen fruit of some sort & tumeric! if i don’t have it for lunch i usually make a smaller version for “dessert”
prior to cooking dinner for the family i make an adrenal cocktail which consists of:
1 cup organic orange juice
1 cup organic coconut water
1/2tsp acerola cherry powder (vitamin c!) from perfect supplements
1/2 redmonds salt
splash of real cream
while winding down i make a raw cacao (hello natural magnesium & fiber!) with a second scoop of collagen from perfect supplements!
before bed i take/apply:
sleep+ (only on nights/during my phase of my cycle when my brain is in overdrive) from amare
goodnight lotion with 400mg total (200mg per tsp) applied topically on my legs from earthley wellness
i realize that yes, i am a beverage gal but it helps me hit my protein goals & keeps me satisfied between meals too :)
