a moody corner in my living room

i got this cutie table on the facebook marketplace almost a year ago for like $15. it’s not the picture of sturdy but it was exactly what i wanted! skinny to not interrupt the walkway into the hall, a small drawer for keys, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, lip balm, etc. & the right height to look “in scale” with the gallery wall. i loved the wood grain of this table. it brought out the red tones of the baskets in our cube unit under the tv & the plant stand but the black frames i had chosen for the gallery wall had my dying for a moodier upgrade to the table. enter black chalk paint. i snagged this chalk paint for like $8 (& only used less than 1/4 for this table!) it took me less than 30 minutes & dried so fast! it was a risk because your girl loves light, bright & airy but honestly, i am obsessed!

this was not only simple but also affordable. it bring me so much joy to have a little moody corner of my living room now! if you’re thinking about it, take the risk! it’s worth it, friend!
