adrenal cocktail

oh the adrenal cocktail. popularized in 2022 on the gram, as someone who struggled with adrenal fatigue & had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism i was super curious right off the bat! we know by now i am a beverage gal so if i could make a drink work for my wellness, i was all in.

when i had my hair tissue mineral analysis done & found out i was deficient in both potassium & sodium earlier this year, it was time to buckle down & get consistent with them. my integrative health practitioner kourtney recommended i do 2 smaller ones or 1 larger one (recipe below) per day to help balance out these mineral deficiencies. i chose 1 larger one in the mid afternoon post lunch, some days it ends up being what i sip on while prepping dinner.

what i will say is i have noticed a huge improvement in my mood continuing to be mellow as the day winds down & my normally thinner patience has evened out as well. let me know if you’ve gotten on the adrenal cocktail train yet, friend!

what you need:

  • 1 cup organic orange juice

  • 1 cup organic coconut water

  • 1/2tsp vitamin c powder (i use perfect brand)

  • 1/2 tsp quality salt (i use redmonds)

how to make it:

combine all in a glass, add an optional splash of raw cream & enjoy!
